Software

Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS)

The AirCard® 595 incorporates Windows NDIS (in addition to DUN) functionality for improved interface between the PC Card and the Windows operating system. NDIS is a selectable feature in Connection Manager that for Sprint customers means increased Notebook PC battery life (due to reduced CPU utilization), the ability to auto connect when the device is inserted, and faster connection after Windows "Resumes" from "Standby" or "Hibernate" states.

Software Developers Kit (SDK)

Fully supported SDK and forum provides application developers with the "hooks" needed to develop custom enterprise applications with the AirCard 595
