Un juego musical muy similar a los que seguramente ya conoces pero con una notoria diferencia: En vez de usar un control, usas una guitarra de verdad. Con Rocksmith puedes aprender a tocar la guitarra y canciones tanto actuales como clásicas de entre un amplio repertorio.
La dificultad va incrementando según la habilidad que tengas y tus resultados en las canciones. Poco a poco vas desbloqueando escenarios, pedales, guitarras y más. Además, el juego te explica todas las funciones de la guitarra para que aprendas a tocarla.

The LP Junior features Epiphone's SlimTaper(tm) neck profile that's both fast and comfortable to play. To add bite as well as stability, the neck is made of hard maple and bolted to a select mahogany body. The fingerboard is made of solid rosewood for smooth, long-lasting performance and is fitted with 22 medium-jumbo frets. Like all Epiphones, the headstock is angled at 14° to provide excellent downward string pressure on the nut without the use of string-tree gadgets that often cause tuning problems. To provide further tuning stability and accuracy, the Junior features deluxe 14:1 covered machine heads. For accurate intonation, the vintage-style wrap-around Stopbar Bridge has adjustment screws at each post. For long-lasting performance and playability, an adjustable truss rod inside the neck allows for neck relief adjustment. Rocksmith is the first and only video game where players can plug any real guitar with a standard quarter-inch input jack into an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, and play through an in-depth library of music including everything from the latest hits to classic rock. The use of a second Rocksmith Real Tone Cable allows for simultaneous split-screen cooperative play. The 11.25 feet cable will also allow players to plug in and record their instrument directly into their computer at 48KHz. The unique cable design ensures quick release of the guitar from the gaming console to protect the player's gear.
