With the success of our 17 Watt amp, we introduced its big brother, the 30 Watt. Similar in design, the 30 Watt is powered by four EL84’s, three 12AX7’s, and switchable rectification between either a 5AR4 tube, or a solid state rectifier. A half power switch is optional.
Unique to the 30 Watt, channel one features volume, treble, bass, and lift controls. The treble control uses a push-pull mid cut switch for greater tonal shaping flexibility. The lift circuit utilizes a classic tone stack design voiced for rich harmonic emphasis and ease of use. It proves nearly impossible to get anything but rich, lush tones from channel one.
For purity and simplicity’s sake, channel two uses the same early 50’s tweed octal design for classic sounds driven by 12AX7 tubes.
