About the Author

The Author: In a past life, Suzanne Samples was definitely a calico cat. In this life, Suzanne teaches English at Appalachian State University and received a Ph.D. in Victorian Literature from Auburn University. She is the winner of the 2020 Prime Number Magazine Award for Short Fiction. Her memoir Frontal Matter: Glue Gone Wild, available from Running Wild Press, received a starred review from Kirkus and was named a Best Book of 2019. The Editor: Barbara Lockwood is a well-established journalist, author, and editor. Her works have appeared online and in print. The stories she's edited have been nominated for Pushcarts and National Book Awards. She resides in Girard, PA with her husband, Jerry.
