This book is the outcome of the research carried out over five decades by the authors and offers a significan contribution to Mexican Papilionidae family. The research has taken hundreds of hours of work in the field and in the De la Maza's Collection. The book includes life-size illustrations of 73 Mexican Papilionidae species in full color. The illustrations are the most complete to date for a work of this kind for our country and includes the dorsal and ventral view of both sexes for all species and subspecies. In addition, when they exist, we include the wide phenotypic variability as well as the forms, aberrations and gynandromorphs.
