TEFEN NYLON 6/6 TUBO FITTING, HEX NIPPLE, GRIS, NPT MACHO, ROSCADO, GRIS, 3/4" X 1/2"

Size: 3/4" x 1/2"
Number Of Items: 5

The Tefen hex nipple pipe fitting is made of gray nylon 6-6 and has male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded connections. This hex nipple fitting is a short length of pipe with threaded ends for connecting threaded pipes, and it has a hexagonal section in the middle for an increased bearing surface when adjusting the fitting with a wrench. It has male NPT threads for connecting to female threaded pipes, creating a tighter seal than straight threads. This fitting is made of nylon 6-6 for high strength and flexibility, resistance to chemicals and abrasion, and a higher melting temperature than Nylon 6. The working pressure for this fitting is up to 200 pounds per square inch (psi), or 14 bar. This fitting meetings National Sanitation Foundation (NSF)/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard 61 for use with drinking (potable) water.
Pipe fittings are components used for connecting, terminating, controlling flow, and changing the direction of piping in many different industries. When purchasing pipe fittings, consider the application, as this will affect material type, shape, size, and required durability. Fittings are available threaded or unthreaded, in many shapes, styles, sizes, and schedules (pipe wall thickness).
Tefen Advanced Plastic Solutions manufactures plastic fittings for pneumatic, automation, and irrigation applications. The company, founded in 1970, meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 standards for quality assurance.
