The back is designed to be soft and form-fitting, the kind of thing you're happy to pull on and keep on all day. It's made of Lycra and moves with you. The thumb is covered in a soft, synthetic terry material, because all of us, even those who claim otherwise, have a nose that needs wiping in the cold and a brow that needs wiping in the heat. The palm starts with a durable microfiber base. Three separate regions of gel padding are then added: one under the thumb, one under the heel, and one across the ball. The thumb and heel are covered with material that breathes, while the ball is covered with microfiber that grips. And an extra grip treatment has been added to the thumb pad as well. The Giordana Men's Strada Gel Glove has reflective elements on the back. It is secured to the hand with a hook-and-loop closure.
